Uso del removedor químico PAPACÁRIE para pacientes pediátricos en dientes temporales.

Abstract

Introduction: Papacárie has been a product developed with the purpose of performing less invasive dentistry using the chemical-mechanical technique, which for many years has had several studies and research so that it only reached the market in 2003 with a new and effective. Its ability to selectively dissolve and eliminate the tissue affected by caries, leaving the surrounding healthy tissue intact. Objective: to demonstrate the benefits of the Papacárie chemical remover when used on temporary teeth of pediatric patients at the time of the dental clinic consultation. Results: a systematic review was carried out based on articles and magazines published between 2019 and 2023. Most of these investigations were experimental based, taking children between 4 and 12 years old as a sample. Conclusion: Papacárie has remained effective in each intervention, managing to fulfill its bacteriostatic, bactericidal and anti-inflammatory function, and has proven to be especially useful in the treatment of cavities in children, since it can be less intimidating and more tolerable for them in comparison with noise and vibrations associated with traditional treatments.
