Intervención logopédica post-operatoria en paciente con Disglosia.

Abstract

The present case analysis, entitled "post-operative speech therapy intervention in patients with dysglossia", refers to the appropriate intervention plan that the patient should receive after the respective cleft lip and palate operation. Dysglossia is a pathology of nonneurological origin that affects the proper function of the phonoarticulatory organs, due to their malformation; For this reason, this study is carried out in a patient who is treated at the Type C health center in Tosagua, which is collected through the interview with the mother, the assessment and evaluation By using the protocol for the evaluation of dysglossias and the appropriate joint test for this pathology, this allows to know the flaws and the degree of involvement of the organs of the joint through the different guidelines to be evaluated and in this way to be able to apply the appropriate techniques for proper post-operative speech therapy intervention; which is done twice a week, in the area of language therapy in the center with a duration of 30 minutes per session to ensure that the patient has an expressive language according to their age. It is evident that the girl can articulate certain vowel and consonant phonemes, by using onomatopoietic sounds and breathing, breath, phonation and articulation techniques. It is important to highlight that this research is descriptive, since it allows to know in detail the patient's background; in order to obtain true information based on the pathology it presents.
