The research titled “Gender Violence from a Male Perspective at ULEAM, Year 2024,” aimed t o analyze gender violence from the male perspective at ULEAM. This issue affects both men and women, highlighting that gender violence has traditionally been associated with women as victims, leaving the experiences of men in the shadows. The methodology was quantitative, using surveys administered to 372 male students at ULEAM. The results showed that 62% of the respondents considered gender violence to be a problem at the university, and 88% recognized all forms of gender violence, including physical, psychological, and sexual. It was identified that the lack of education on gender equality was a major cause of violence, as many students lacked the necessary information and knowledge about gender equality. The main consequences of gender violence included mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and post -traumatic stress disorder, as well as poor academic performance and social isolation. The research concluded that it is essential to promote a culture of continuous awareness and empathy towards victims, as well as to integrate gender equality education at all educational levels to change perceptions and behaviors from an early age. It also highlighted the need for active male participation in the promotion of gender equality to create environments of respect and integration in interpersonal relationships.es
