Evolución del bono de desarrollo humano en la ciudad de Manta en el periodo 2017-2022.

Abstract

This study analyzes the contribution of the Human Development Bonus (BDH) to the quality of life of the beneficiaries in the city of Manta. The research focuses on determining the effectiveness of this public policy and identifying how beneficiaries use the bonus to improve their living conditions. The methodology used includes a hypothetical-deductive approach, using descriptive, documentary and explanatory techniques. Surveys were conducted with 217 BDH beneficiaries in Manta, selected through statistical sampling. The results show that the majority of the beneficiaries are women, and the predominant age group is 41 to 60 years old and that, although a significant part of the bonus is allocated to basic needs such as food and education, there is an untapped potential in terms health and productive ventures.
