dc.description.abstractThe following research work is carried out to determine the implementation of sales strategies and their influence on the competitiveness of clothing merchants in the new Tarqui - Manta. Currently, there are several problems in this area related to the poor implementation of sales strategies, which negatively affects their competitiveness in the commercial environment. This research project is based on its variables and is of a non-experimental, cross-sectional nature, with a descriptive and analytical scope. Through the review of various scientific articles related to the study variables, a questionnaire of 17 questions with five Likert scale response options was developed. This questionnaire was applied to 92 merchants to obtain direct information about their businesses. Subsequently, a data analysis was carried out to determine if there is a correlation between the variables. As a result, sales strategies significantly influence the competitiveness of clothing merchants in the new Tarqui - Manta. It was found that the correlation is positive between the variables, as well as between their dimensions. However, key areas were identified that require improvement to achieve better strategies, competitiveness, efficiency, and commercial success in the clothing sector. In conclusion, sales strategies are fundamental to the success of businesses, and competitiveness is intrinsically linked to these strategies, which will not only increase sales but also strengthen the position of merchants in the market.es
