Resumen : | Cholecystitis is a disease that is evidenced by inflammation of the wall of the gallbladder due to the presence of stones; its clinic is based on the development of pain produced in the upper right quadrant of the abdomen associated with nausea, vomiting, jaundice, dehydration and fever. To reach a definitive diagnosis, health personnel rely on clinical parameters and laboratory and imaging findings. The treatment of choice is laparoscopic cholecystectomy due to its minimal invasiveness and user recovery time. In other words, the diagnosis is made with the complete medical history, detailed physical examination, laboratory tests (elevation of bilirubin, especially at the expense of the direct one) and a confirmatory imaging method, such as ultrasound. This case study is of great importance in the field of health since it generates information about the pathology and how we should act when providing care to the user, this being of vital importance for them to recover their health and be able to adjust to your new lifestyle. Having as main objective to apply the nursing care process to patients with acute cholecystitis, this as an important point to contribute to the recovery and improvement of the quality of life of the human being. Therefore, the case study allowed recognizing each of the health problems that the user presents and prioritizing nursing interventions and in turn achieving favorable results for the benefit of the user. |
