Abstract

This research focuses on the analysis of the demand for food for minors in the Manta canton in 2022. The approach is theoretical, qualitative and quantitative. For this purpose, a documentary exploration investigation was used, focused on a review of the statistics of both the Judiciary Council and the Free Legal Clinic of the Eloy Alfaro Secular University of Manabí regarding the cases presented on alimony (claims from father or from parent to parent) in the year 2022. The scientific, hermeneutic and analytical methods were used. The investigation made it possible to show that the cases of demand for food from fathers to mothers had no impact in the year studied, thereby denoting a lack of knowledge of the issue regarding the protection of the law from the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and the Children's Code. and adolescence.
