Abstract

This entrepreneurial project is carried out to determine the feasibility of creating a microenterprise dedicated to the production and marketing of healthy food to be located in the city of Manta, in order to satisfy the need to promote healthy eating as a primary option for consumers; It is important that there are more businesses in the city that offer healthier and cheaper options where gastronomy can be positively balanced with the purpose of caring for the health of the inhabitants. In the first instance, the market study of the project was carried out by quantitative method through online surveys on the Forms platform, which were carried out on the sample of the population of Manta, specifically from the urban area, to the inhabitants in an age range of 15 to 70 years; These results were the first step to carry out the analysis of the possible local demand and, consequently, the pertinent financial studies. Likewise, the feasibility of the business is determined by means of a financial evaluation where the results of the VAN are $6,218.46 and an IRR of 31%, which indicates that the project is considered viable, despite the existence of a certain risk for the positioning of the business, the essential thing will be resort to the implementation of excellent strategies and promote the use of information and communication technologies that allow the sustainability of microenterprises.
