Abstract

The violation of rights towards the elderly is a palpable problem that is experienced every day in society, regardless of the socioeconomic and cultural conditions in which the age population develops. Although it is evident that the economic factor plays an important role and is recognized as the main risk factor, there are other factors that motivate this problem to be difficult to mitigate; because the age population or older adults due to their health conditions typical of their age need a caregiver to be able to develop their activities in a fuller and more effective way; that is why the importance of developing laws and policies through the execution of programs and projects with the purpose of promoting an awareness of respect and values towards this population that deserves to fully enjoy their rights and priority benefits in their last years of life must be recognized.
