Abstract

The objective of the present investigation was to carry out a diagnosis of the state of Corporate Social Responsibility in the Prospero Meza Gas Distributor of the city of Manta with the purpose of verifying its effectiveness in achieving its sustainable development, to know the CSR diagnosis was carried out. carried out the implementation of the questionnaire Guide to the Manual of Indicators of the INCAE Comprehensive Model, which is a self-diagnosis tool aimed at reviewing the company's management in each space that includes socially responsible conduct. This quantitative - descriptive research is oriented towards the improvement of the management of Corporate Social Responsibility to create sustainability in the Prospero Meza Gas Distributor of the city of Manta, where it began with a brief review of the basic concepts of CSR analyzing the guidelines and trends. Then, based on the analysis and results, a Plan of key activities for the improvement of Corporate Social Responsibility was introduced to strengthen its sustainable development. Based on this, the new CSR Plan was designed with clearly defined and achievable principles and methods based on a general objective and specific objectives, each one with its improvement actions that will allow the company to measure strategies and goals in its beginning towards sustainable development. Finally, it is concluded that the Prospero Meza Gas Distributor of the city of Manta, reflected that the institution has certain CSR practices which are within the framework of legal commitment, but does not implement a management model supported by socially responsible practices, to achieve its sustainable and eco-friendly development and growth; therefore the success of the CSR Plan designed in this work will depend on the level of commitment that senior management takes in this nuance to support the formation of Corporate Social Responsibility towards its sustainable creation.
