Análisis jurídico sobre la regulación de cannabis no psicoactivo en Ecuador, año 2022.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to carry out an exhaustive legal analysis of the regulation of non-psychoactive cannabis in Ecuador, in relation to the Constitution and Ministerial Agreement 109. In order to achieve this objective, a descriptive qualitative approach methodology was used, including a bibliographic, legal and documentary review. The results of the research show that the regulation of non-psychoactive cannabis in Ecuador is in a state of constant evolution and adaptation, in line with global trends towards decriminalization and regulation of this plant for medicinal and scientific uses. However, areas of ambiguity and possible conflicts between current regulation and constitutional principles were also identified. In conclusion, the research suggests that, although significant progress has been made in the regulation of non-psychoactive cannabis in Ecuador, there are still significant challenges that need to be addressed to ensure that regulation is consistent with the Constitution and Ministerial Agreement 109.
