dc.description.abstract | The objective of the research was to analyze the impact of human talent management on the work performance of the Jaramijó Fire Department. A quantitative approach was used, with a descriptive scope and non-experimental design. The population was made up of 28 people, to whom a survey of 21 questions was applied to collect information, the results of which were processed in the SPSS software. The results showed that recruitment and selection strategies are generally effective, although some members perceive areas for improvement in certain processes. Work commitment was shown to be positive, but not uniform, reflecting possible mismatches between individual expectations and organizational practices. Regarding the use of talents, the majority perceive adequate use, although a smaller group indicated that their capabilities are not maximized. The reward systems were evaluated favorably, but perceptions of inequity were identified in some cases. The areas of talent development and monitoring presented divided opinions, highlighting the need to clarify and strengthen the processes. In conclusion, human talent management shows significant strengths. Although opportunities are identified to optimize key processes, these improvements can contribute to enhancing employee commitment and maximizing their capabilities. | es |
