Abstract: | A prototype of a Geographic Information System integrated with Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics is developed to provide information on food establishments, focusing on query collection and trend analysis. The research follows a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative perspectives. An inductive method is employed, utilizing data obtained from interviews and documentary sources, as well as geospatial information collected through OpenStreetMap. For system development, an incremental methodology was applied, structured into five phases, resulting in a functional application from two perspectives. For users, the system offers an interactive map with search and filtering options, accompanied by an AI-powered virtual assistant that provides recommendations. On the other hand, administrators can manage platform information and collect data on user queries, enabling the generation of trend histograms and the analysis of establishment ratings. Finally, the system enables the integration and visualization of location data along with detailed information on food establishments. Additionally, it provides an interactive interface for exploration, incorporates an AI assistant to answer queries and generate recommendations, and analyzes user searches to identify trends of interest. |
Description: | En la presente se desarrolla un prototipo de un sistema de Información Geográfica, integrado con Inteligencia Artificial y Analítica de Datos, orientado a ofrecer información sobre establecimientos alimenticios, enfocándose en la recopilación de consultas y el análisis de tendencias de búsqueda. La investigación es de tipo mixto, combinando enfoques cualitativo y cuantitativo; se emplea un método inductivo, con datos obtenidos de entrevistas y fuentes documentales, así como información geoespacial recopilada a través de OpenStreetMap y datos del INEC. |
