Abstract

In an increasingly connected world, technology plays a crucial role in the optimization of various processes. In this context, the present work addresses the design and development of an innovative mobile system aimed at revolutionizing the way in which the requests and the recato of transport units are managed in the Taxi Agency “SERVITAXMA S.A”, located in the parish El Carmen. The main objective of this system is to improve efficiency, accessibility and user experience when requesting and using transportation services. As for the development, the Srum methodology was used, which promotes collaborative work in the development of projects, focusing on four key elements. With respect to its development, Android Studio tools and Java language were used in the computer system for the transportation logistics of the cab agency Servitaxma S.A., in the canton of El Carmen, this allowed significant improvements, such as customer satisfaction, a reduction in fuel consumption and an improvement in the timeliness of services, contributing to a more sustainable and reliable operation.
