Intervención de enfermería en adultos mayores con hipertensión arterial.

Abstract

The present research carried out is aimed at Nursing Intervention in older adults with arterial hypertension in a bibliographic review, in which the General Objective was to Analyze the clinical practice guideline (CPG) of Arterial Hypertension, to reduce morbidity and mortality in the elderly diagnosed with arterial hypertension. A study methodology is presented focused on a mixed nature research, under the Bibliographic Review modality, being a documentary type research with the application of quasi-experimental and experimental methods applied in the work environment of Theoretical, Inductive-Deductive, Historical-Logical method. In the Results obtaining the sample of 50 selected studies in which Scielo with 90% representing 45 of the articles, Elsevier 2% representing 1 of the articles, Revista Latinoamérica de Hipertensión 2% representing 1 of the articles and Scopus 4% representing 2 of the articles selected for the research focus. In conclusion, information from indexed database documents can be selected in which the research process developed has been demonstrated, emphasizing nursing interventions in older adults with high blood pressure.
