Laughter therapy is a psychotherapeutic technique used to provide physical and emotional benefits to people through laughter. Objective: To analyze laughter therapy from a nursing perspective in children undergoing chemotherapy. Methodology: Descriptive Study with a Retrospective Design. It is carried out from a Bibliographic Review, which includes various scientific databases supported in health such as PubMed, Elsevier, SCOPUS, WHO, PAHO and therefore with information on laughter therapy from a nursing perspective for children undergoing chemotherapy. Results: It can be observed that a total of 100% of articles were found for the information collection, of which, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 10% of the studies are legible for research. Taking into account that the final collection of scientific articles had a total of 10, the origin of each of them was determined, where it is highlighted that: Brazil was the country where the majority of studies and research related to the topic were carried out, addressing 3% of the total, the other countries such as Colombia, Spain, Iran, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, and Portugal contributed 1% each. Discussion: To manage pain due to chemotherapy, it has been shown that laughter therapy causes a decrease in cortisol levels, also causing the brain to release endorphins, which can reduce pain and improve the child's mood, leading to better acceptance of the treatment.es
