Abstract

This paper presents a study on "The benefit of inventory as a mechanism for asset protection in inheritance." Its main objective is to analyze the effectiveness of the benefit of inventory as a mechanism for asset protection in inheritance. It is divided into three parts. Each of the parameters that will be the subject of this study is included. In the final section, we present the evidence that served as a basis for understanding the level of knowledge on this topic among those involved in the procedures related to the benefit of inventory in the case of inheritance acceptance. A methodology based on descriptive, inductive-deductive, theoretical-legal, and synthetic methods was used, which have been of great contribution to the organization of information and its proper distribution. Among the results obtained from the discussion of the topic, it is worth mentioning that it has been possible to understand the literature on this topic based on the applicable legal regulations related to the subject, as well as to verify that the inventory mechanism is an excellent option, especially for safeguarding the heir's own assets. The purpose of this work is to serve as a tool for study and analysis for users, law students, and judicial officials. This is the beginning of a first project aimed at developing others as a showcase for this disciplined profesión.
