dc.description.abstractThe research consisted of collecting data for the design of a catalog of craft beers from the Ecuadorian coast, in which characteristics such as: name of the beer, place of production, price of the product, degree of alcohol and net content are located. Craft beer is made naturally, that is, it does not contain antioxidants, stabilizers, additives, colorants, preservatives, or any chemical to enhance the flavor or alter the combination of malts, spices, fruits or hops. In order to determine the various types of craft beers, a bibliographic review was carried out in documents such as theses, scientific articles and others. Likewise, the inductivedeductive and analytical methods were applied. Regarding the techniques, survey and interview questionnaires were developed, which aimed to measure the level of knowledge of the population regarding the types of craft beers existing on the Ecuadorian coast and in turn to evaluate the approval of the implementation of the catalog of these products. 118 surveys were collected and the results reveal that there is a high degree of knowledge of the types of craft beers on the Ecuadorian coast, likewise, they agree that the catalog be prepared. They also consider that for a greater reach of visualization there must be a joint effort by private investment, the owners of the beverage establishments and the managers. At the end of the investigation, the catalog was designed, a set of strategies were also developed to help its massive dissemination.es
