Abstract

This research project allowed us to consider the use of ICTs in Manta's tour operators. This is due to the lack of awareness or interest in adapting where information is considered an indispensable resource. Therefore, tour operators have gone from being inactive offices to becoming important development drivers. To carry out this research process, it will be necessary to employ work techniques that aid in the collection of information, including surveys and interviews. The methodology applied in this research was deductive and inductive, which allowed us, through real facts and observation, surveys, and interviews with staff, to learn about the shortcomings of the city's tour operators and the service provided to tourists visiting this tourist destination.
