Resumen : | The present investigative work is a general description from when the COVID-19 pandemic began; being its beginning in the City of Wuhan, Hubei Province-China, its evolution, the contagion figures, questions that are not yet resolved; the recommendations of the WHO, an updated contribution of the joint effort of the world scientific community, where a summary is evidenced around the epidemiology, microbiological and clinical characteristics of COVID-19, source of infection, transmission, incubation period, markers of severity, as it occurs according to age and associated with other diseases. As a general objective, it was proposed to systematically review the scientific evidence regarding the biopsychosocial effects in patients recovered from Covid-19 infections. using as a methodology the research would explode, in biomedical journals, where it was selected considering the relevance of the information according to the chosen topic, in web pages such as PubMet, Scielo, Medline and resulting in the analysis of 30 scientific evidence from true sources, concluding that the consequences that occur once COVID-19 is overcome, the main ones being pneumonia, muscular atrophy as collateral damage, an increase in mental problems derived from Covid-19 and its physical sequelae without leaving behind the psychological effects, anxiety, depression, the repercussions of a person at the time of isolation and quarantine, uncertainty, anxiety in the face of illness, being the medical professionals who relate it to a considerable increase in mental health problems; It is important to mention that it not only affects the patient but also the emotional consequences of the health workers. |
Descripción : | El presente trabajo investigativo es una descripción general desde cuándo empezó la pandemia del COVID-19; siendo su inicio en la Ciudad de Wuhan, Provincia de Hubei- China, su evolución, las cifras de contagio, preguntas que aún no son resueltas; las recomendaciones de la OMS, una aportación actualizada del esfuerzo conjunto de la comunidad científica mundial, donde se evidencia un resumen en torno a la epidemiología, características microbiológicas y clínicas del COVID-19, fuente de infección, transmisión, periodo de incubación, marcadores de gravedad, como se presenta de acuerdo a las edades y asociada a otras enfermedades. |
