Abstract

Process flows allow for the visualization of the path that information follows, as well as the relationship between the sender and receiver, thereby helping to understand the connection between them. For this reason, the authors highlight the importance of their use and the benefits they bring to modern organizations, as they contribute to achieving their goals. The articulation of information, on the other hand, enables the analysis, demonstration, critique, justification, and sharing of such information, thus achieving objectives and facilitating decision-making. The present research, titled "Process Flows to Efficiently Articulate Information in the Human Resources Department at Plastilópez S.A.", aimed to analyze process flows as a means to efficiently articulate information within the human resources department. The study was conducted as a case study, using techniques such as data collection through interviews, carried out using a structured questionnaire administered to the staff responsible for that area. The results showed a lack of knowledge and strategies regarding decision making. It is concluded that the use of tools and techniques related to process management is important. These processes must be updated and reviewed for improvement. For this reason, emphasis is placed on having strategies that make this process more efficient, since information is a valuable resource for companies and is used in the execution of their activities and decision making.
