Incidencia del factor económico en el tratamiento de ortodoncia interceptora en niños menores de 7 años en la escuela Simón Bolívar del barrio Santa Martha en Manta año 2022.

Abstract

Dental malocclusion is a dentoskeletal disease that interferes with good orofacial development in children under 7 years of age. Interceptive orthodontics is aimed at correcting these skeletal malformations at an early age, especially in the child population that cannot acces this type of treatment due to its high cost. In the present study, definitions, treatments, characteristics and investigations of the last years that become the support of these applicable treatments in vulnerable sectors (children under 7 years of age) and with low economic level are presented. With the application of surveys and results we will know the incidence of the economic factor that prevents the timely application of these treatments.
