Identificación de especies forestales establecidas en el Centro de gestión, innovación y transferencia de conocimiento “Finca Tigrillo” de la Universidad Laíca Eloy Alfaro de Manabí 2022.

Abstract

The current research project had the objective of identifying the forest species established in the Center for management, innovation and knowledge transfer "Finca Tigrillo" of the Laíca Eloy Alfaro University of Manabí. Due to the lack of ignorance about the main forest species and the lack of transfer of forestry technology and knowledge to the productive sectors of the Chone canton, this is due to the lack of implementation of different areas dedicated to forestry research. The method that was used was descriptive, therefore, it was possible to identify 17 forest species between trees and shrubs, they were dendrologically identified to each of the established forest species, and their biological and/or agro-productive functionality was described according to the physiological state. of the forest species, a general management plan and establishment of the forest species was carried out according to the needs of the production unit (Tigrillo) finally, the species found were georeferenced in a general way according to the divisions of or work areas of the farm ocelot. The results achieved showed that on the tigrillo farm there are 15 tree species and 2 shrub species.
