Evaluación de parámetros productivos en pollos Cobb 500 alimentados con diferentes tipos de balanceados en el cantón Chone, 2022.

Abstract

The present study was carried out in the Platanales site of the Santa Rita parish of the Chone Canton, with the purpose of evaluating the productive parameters of the Cobb 500 line broilers, under two feeding systems. For this study, a total of 100 broiler chickens were used, with an average initial weight of 46 grams, which were distributed by means of a completely random design, into two groups. The treatments evaluated were: Group "A" chickens fed with a different concentrate than Group "B". The variables evaluated were: daily weight gain, weekly average weight, feed conversion rate, and mortality rate. For the statistical analysis, a completely randomized design and separation test between both groups were used. In which significant differences were found, giving as a result that in the daily consumption of food the G "A" ingested 267 Kg and the G "B" ingested 222 Kg, having as weekly weight that the G "A" obtained a majority weight of 3.29 Kg, while the G "B" obtained a weight of 2.54 Kg, in terms of feed conversion the G "A" had an average of 1.87 and the G "B" 1.90 with little difference. In conclusion, we can affirm that the broilers of the Cobb 500 line under a good feeding management with ingredients rich in protein, minerals, vitamins, energy and with access to water, are productively more productive.
