Abstract

This research addresses a topic of relevance within the competitive business world, since positioning itself as an efficient company or institution that is committed to quality is increasingly essential, this is how it is necessary for institutions to currently have standards and standards that allow them to establish quality levels in the processes that are developed within it. In this case, that of ISO 9001, in this sense, this TFM, has the purpose of developing the proposal for the Implementation of an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System in the Social Development Directorate in the Provincial GAD of Manabí, which allows the improvement and systematization of each of the processes, reaching a higher level of confidence internally and externally and therefore improving the organization's approach. For the development of this research, it was based on the type of exploratory research, where through this it was possible to highlight the fundamental aspects of the problem and find the appropriate procedures to develop a subsequent investigation. The results obtained indicate that initially it was possible to determine the current situation of the DDS processes by collecting information, later it was possible to establish the necessary information to comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard, finally managing to develop a plan for the implementation of a Quality Management System.
