Abstract

The following research sought to generate a proposal for urban regeneration through a Park-plaza, in the central area of ​​Manta, in the space of the old land terminal, and the built-up area of ​​the commercial bay. The problem arises from the transfer of the terminal to a new location, so this had a direct impact on the businesses of the commercial bay. When the terminal was present there was a large influx of people in said sector, which was convenient for the local economy. Another point that I leave this change of terminal was the infrastructure that existed in the place which was demolished, and It later became a vacant lot, which today is used as a parking lot. informal, so this urban regeneration proposal also aims to organize and solve the parking issue through a building that formally and replaces efficient. Through the proposal for the shopping plaza, we sought to solve problems that currently exist in the bay, such as its aesthetic appearance, its organization, its health, the sizing of premises which are considered small, as well as the application of new construction methods. Planter considerations were taken that improve the microclimate of the area, so that it is also incorporated into the urban landscape of the sector. The parking lot for reasons of space, it was planned to manage a proposal for a building 4-story parking lot, in terms of vehicle organization, it was designed to offer alternatives to the Gad of Manta, so that the laws of the road direction of the streets are modified, thus obtaining a road order for the area. In summary, we seek to obtain solutions to the problems that exist through a proposal based on the necessary previous studies in order to satisfy the needs of users and people who work in mentioned sector.
