Propuesta de un parque ecológico cultural con criterios sostenibles en el sector paralelo cero del cantón Pedernales.

Abstract

The present investigation is developed in the periphery of the Pedernales canton, in the limits of Coaque in an area that crosses the equinoctial line called the "Parallel Zero" route, which is currently abandoned and unknown by many, keeping a geographical history of great importance for the canton. As a response to this problem, a rehabilitation of this area is carried out through an architectural design with sustainable criteria that allow the implementation of an ecological park, applying research methods and an approach to the population through interviews with 387 people from a universe of 55,128 inhabitants. based on understanding how the inhabitant uses the public space, in such a way that it is a mechanism to reaffirm the hypothesis of the absence of natural, tourist and cultural spaces, due to the inadequate and inefficient planning of the territory and to act through strategies that provide a significant contribution to the general design of the project as an urban solution that solves the environmental, ecological, cultural and recreational deficiencies of the canton.
