Abstract

Currently, there are several points that show the need for development rural with respect to the activities carried out in each territory. The present research identifies the problems surrounding the decline of agriculture in the recent years and the indifference shown by the inhabitants who are dedicated to agricultural activities productive, which is contradictory, because agriculture is one of the main productive activities of Manabí. The main objective of this work is diagnosis of farmers' needs to make a proposal architectural design that responds to the results obtained from the research carried out, organizing the field information and determining important criteria taken to be They mainly link to the Portoviejo 2035 Plan, on which the proposal will be based. As a result, the need for direction towards the agroindustry based on an infrastructure dedicated to the processing of harvested fruits in the Portoviejo canton and the central area of ​​Manabí, through design and recognition of the development of agricultural areas in the central area of ​​the Portoviejo canton.
