dc.description.abstract | With the emergence of covid-19, in the field of design and construction experts have seen the need to redesign architectural spaces that were developed in a conventional way in order to safeguard people from this deadly virus. The main objective of this article was to identify guidelines in trends regarding the design of residential architectural spaces that allow adaptability, functionality and flexibility in the home, taking into account regulations adjusted to the situation, the study was developed in the Jaramijó Canton, Ecuador. The methodology used in this article focuses on documentary research of a qualitative nature at an exploratory level where a series of conceptualizations are framed that reflect on ephemeral architecture and its application in times of pandemic, residential architecture and covid-19, and the primary needs of people in their homes and public spaces post pandemic. This health emergency brought with it a series of uncertainties worldwide and to protect the human being the WHO had a series of measures and protocols, where housing became the main axis of protection. From this situation, changes are evident in the daily coexistence of its occupants, where there was no ability to find resilient spaces that help to deal with this situation, in such a way that it would change the way of life in the home, finally it must be meditated that housing is and will be an important environment within society and it is essential that these have spaces that are adopted to the new needs creating environments and multidisciplinary areas that comply with the established measures. | es |
