Abstract

This research and design is carried out in the center of the Tosagua canton, from the central park to the Plaza de los Amarillos, a proposal is proposed to correct the deficits that the public spaces of the sector have and then be integrated through design. town. Optimal research methods are applied to help us obtain the best results to later provide an optimal urban regeneration project that contributes to the population and the image of the canton. An analysis was carried out on the site, with a field visit to identify existing errors. Meetings were held with 365 people who live or attend the different public spaces in the area. The results were as expected, and previously analyzed by the field visit, among them there is a lack of lighting, non-existence of recreational areas, lack of signage to safeguard pedestrian safety, bus stop, dynamism and association between the population and the major problem that is the construction of the central market that has caused merchants to carry out these activit ies in the streets, disrupting free traffic for pedestrians. In this way, the proposal for an urban regeneration in the sector was carried out, providing accessibility to people with special disabilities, sidewalk design, tree planting in spaces where they can be implanted, rest benches on sidewalks, bus stop shelters, In the park, an area for children's recreation and for adults (bio-healthy exercises) was implemented, and in the Plaza de los Amarillos, water jets with colored lights were installed for recreation, animation, and to beautify the place.
