Incidencia del anillo clorótico en diferentes cruzamientos de palma aceitera en etapa de vivero, INIAP- Santo Domingo, 2021

Abstract

The present research work was carried out in the nursery of the Santo Domingo Experimental Station of the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIAP) in order to determine the crosses of the hybrid (INIAP - Tenera), with greater or lesser tolerance to the chlorotic ring and establish the epidemiological curve of the chlorotic ring of the same in oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) in the nursery stage. In this research, parameters on this disease were analyzed based on crosses of Dura x Pilífera, which were used twenty treatments and three repetitions, through this methodology we used an experimental design of DBCA (Design of Complete Blocks at Random). The main purpose of this research work is to show the susceptibility of oil palm to chlorotic ring disease. Through the result of the experimental design, a coefficient of variation of 14.86 was obtained, which indicates that there are statistical differences between the evaluated treatments, in addition, the percentage of incidence of the disease was calculated, which gave a result in treatment five with a percentage of 45.69%, which indicates that in this treatment it obtained a very high rank, which makes chlorotic ring disease more susceptible, while in treatment forty-eight a percentage of 13.11% was obtained. which reveals that this treatment is stronger for chlorotic ring disease. In this research work, it is detailed which is the result obtained by the Area under the disease progress curve based on the proportion of treatment 5 that was the most susceptible and treatment 48 that was the strongest in the face of chlorotic ring disease. in oil palm in the nursery stage.
