Evaluación subjetiva de la calidad espermática pos criopreservación del toro criollo Manabita.

Abstract

The present research work was developed in the El Carmen parish of the El Carmen canton of the province of Manabí, which had the purpose of subjectively evaluating the post-cryopreserved sperm quality of the Manabí Creole bull through a macroscopic evaluation for which an analysis was carried out. In the Biogensa laboratory located in the Machachi canton of the province of Pichincha, the variables analyzed in the laboratory were volume, color, odor, appearance and pH. The total number of samples analyzed corresponds to 10 straws of cryopreserved semen from different Creole bulls present in the province of Manabí. For the evaluation of the data, descriptive statistics were used with measures of central tendency, and application of correlation at 95% probability within the variables analyzed. The results obtained by applying this type of statistics were lower than the results obtained by other authors in the study variables, which were volume, color, odor, appearance and pH.
