Abstract

The research was carried out at the "San Guido" farm, located in La Unión, a rural parish in the Quinindé canton of the province of Esmeraldas, El Silencio site. Its objective was to evaluate the effect of application frequencies of α-naphthaleneacetic acid (ANA) on the oil potential in interspecific hybrid O x G (Taisha x Avros). A Randomized Block Design (RCD) with six treatments and three repetitions was used, the treatments were different frequencies of ANA application on odd days from one to nine. To determine the potential of oil in the bunch, the following were evaluated: the diameter and length of the fruit, the conformation of the bunch and the days to harvest. The different frequencies of application of ANA in the interspecific hybrid O x G (Taisha x Avros) do not affect the characteristics of the fruits, there were no significant differences in the diameter or length of the fruits, but in the conformation of the cluster. where there are significant differences in the amount of stenopermocarpic fruits, with the AA treatment (1-3) the largest amount of this type of fruit was formed. When evaluating the effect of the different application frequencies of αnaphthaleneacetic acid in the interspecific hybrid Ox G (Taisha x Avros), on bunch weight and days to harvest, no significant differences were obtained between treatments.
