Abstract

The present investigation seeks to carry out a regeneration in the commercial area of ​​the canton La Concordia through an architectural proposal of a multifunctional market, the same that after a solid analysis regarding several parameters for the selection of the land It was concluded that the correct thing would be to locate it where the current market is, but the proposal will have functional aspects that allow solving the problems that arise in the current facilities and that prevent the development of the city from the point of view commercial, economic, social and urban, without leaving aside the formal part that serves as complement and that must provide a visual delight for the inhabitants and people outside the city. For the proposal, the factors that generate spatial deterioration for the development of commercial activities in the current market of the canton of La Concordia and its surroundings that correspond according to land use to the commercial area of ​​the city resulting in: insufficient infrastructure for all merchants forcing the underprivileged to take over the surrounding area to create informal commerce which leads to unhealthiness due to inadequate waste disposal anagement. In conclusion, the main objective is based on providing a responsible design that is both functional as a formal one that facilitates commercial exchange in the urban area and the communities of the rural area.
