Abstract

The setting where the research was carried out was the Urban Center of the “Manta” parish, in the province of Manabí, for having institutions that are They find themselves providing services to the elderly, but, without There is no doubt that they are not sufficient to cover the demand or needs of total user satisfaction. The present study is based on the current situation of the services that are provide this group of people, regarding infrastructure, conditions, environments and services of use, which are not sufficient and which have triggered a countless number of subproblems that directly affect directly to the users of the intervention site. The main objective of the research work is to diagnose the problem through recognition of the need and dialogue with the users, to propose a proposal that meets the expectations of this sector, which currently does not supply the population, are insufficient and do not provide the desired services.The proposal for “Architectural design of a private comprehensive geriatric center for the Manta canton, province of Manabí”, will promote the offer, service, use and relationship between users, to improve the living conditions of the elderly people, their families and visitors. In addition, the designed communal areas will be mainly equipped with spaces and environments, which will help meet the expectations and demands of users marking conservation and respect for the communal space.
