Abstract

Cities like Manta and Jaramijó are towns that are characterized by the significant number of industrial companies that are established and are part of the economic structure of their inhabitants. The basic salary is an important part of social well-being, since its establishment will depend on and will serve to support the social actors involved in the workplace, whether public or private, the amount given by its determination will mean a lot to know the current situation of the country, such as the situation in the face of inflation and the level of quality of life of its citizens, in Ecuador it is a reality that the current amount of the basic salary is less than the cost of the basic basket, which is a deficit that has an impact on growth and the path towards a better level of quality of life for families. Due to this, the importance of describing the levels of profitability due to the increase in the basic salary in companies in the industrial sector of Manta and Jaramijó, during the last decades, is essential because from this conceptualization it is possible to identify all the mechanisms that It is part of this indicator, which is relevant for the study of the variables and the understanding of consumption habits, the monitoring of the economic and social growth and development of this industrial producing area of great importance for the region.
