Abstract

This work focuses on the analysis of the information management model developed by the expert Gloria Ponjuán Dante and its potential contribution to organizational development of the Ecuadorian company Indumaster S.A., dedicated to the manufacturing of furniture and office appliances. Nowadays, effective information management has become a factor key strategic for the competitiveness and success of modern organizations. Having accessible, reliable and timely information is essential to innovate, make wise decisions and achieve business objectives. In an increasingly globalized and competitive business environment, the ability of a organization to effectively manage its information has become a success indicator. Organizations that manage to implement efficient systems of information management not only improve their ability to respond to changes in the market, but also optimize internal coordination, reduce risks associated with making decisions based on incomplete or incorrect information, and strengthen their competitive position in the market.
