Abstract

This research on Manabí SMEs in the European market through virtual business meetings was designed based on the problem of the lack of information on business meeting programs. The objectives are framed around the benefits that this tool provides to Manabí SMEs when accessing the European market. The results obtained demonstrate that virtual business meetings are advantageous for their development, especially in the manufacturing sector, given its diverse nature and the range of business opportunities it presents. It is proposed that the government, together with the country's institutions, promote programs that offer training and necessary digital tools to support Manabí SMEs interested in participating in virtual business meetings, thereby enabling them to obtain long-term benefits.
