Abstract

This research work presents a positive outlook for the Port of Manta, highlighting a notable growth in vehicle cargo and favorable future prospects and highlights the strategic importance of the Port of Manta and the Manta Port Terminal (TPM) initiatives implemented to optimize the management of vehicle imports. The research focuses on evaluating the impact of these strategies on the satisfaction of the actors involved, regional economic development and the challenges facing the port. The research identified in this study not only highlights the positive outlook for the Port of Manta, but also identifies the challenges that must be addressed to achieve sustainable development and capitalize on the opportunities offered by the growing regional automotive market. Collaboration between public and private actors, along with strategic investments in infrastructure and the implementation of sustainable practices, will be key to the success of the port in the future. This project will provide relevant information that will serve specifically in future research works according to the training of university students in the field of foreign trade.
