Abstract

The present entrepreneurial project was carried out with the aim of proposing the creation of a company dedicated to the manufacture and sale of ecological clothing made from bamboo fabric. This is because bamboo is a material that is very little known and commercialized in the country, much less in the city of Manta. Therefore, it represents a significant opportunity to raise awareness of the benefits of bamboo fabric and to commercialize products made from this material in the country. To this end, a market study was conducted to understand the tastes and preferences of Ecuadorian people and to assess whether the product could be ccepted and if it is feasible to introduce garments made from this material into the market. A technical and organizational study was also carried out to determine the operating mode of this business, including the necessary positions and personnel requirements, as well as the resources needed to carry it out. Finally, a financial study with its respective evaluation was conducted to determine the profitability and benefits of developing this company in Ecuador, in order to attract shareholders who are willing to invest in the business to get it started.
