Cuidados de enfermería en adolescentes embarazadas con hipertensión arterial.

Abstract

Adolescent pregnancy remains a global problem, increasing the risk of complications such as preeclampsia and eclampsia, severe hypertensive disorders. Eclampsia, associated with proteinuria and neurological symptoms such as seizures, can occur after week 20, during childbirth or the postpartum period. Without treatment, it can lead to serious complications and even death of the mother or baby. The objective of the research work focuses on designing an educational guide that is based on the care needed by a pregnant adolescent with high blood pressure from a nursing perspective, thus guaranteeing a better process on the part of health professionals Methodology: It is a documentary investigation , based on the search, collection, organization and analysis of various sources on a study topic previously developed following the methodology of systematic bibliographic reviews on care in pregnant patients with high blood pressure, likewise, the following level scientific methods were used . theoretical: analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive and cross-sectional. Results: Through the bibliographic analysis, it was possible to understand the importance of comprehensive care in the maintenance and promotion of health in adolescents since, due to their age, they enter a risk group. Therefore, the nursing professional must provide interventions linked to the comprehensive care model as coping strategies in order to prevent and mitigate the fundamental effects of holistic care, focusing on comprehensive care.
