Resumen : | Anemia is the state in which the body has a deficiency in its concentration of hemoglobin in erythrocytes of peripheral blood by 10% or more. Anemia is a very common nutritional disorder today, it is very common in adolescents, with females of childbearing age having a higher risk rate, mainly those that are in the gestation period. Anemia is the most frequently diagnosed hematological disorder during pregnancy, so that all pregnant women are at risk of suffering from anemia during pregnancy, being more frequent in underdeveloped countries. It is referred to as a dilutional process secondary to the increase in plasma volume that occurs during pregnancy. Clinical studies revealed that anemia in pregnancy it is associated with complications in the mother, fetus and newborn, being related to greater fetal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, hence the importance of a adequate prenatal control with the iron supplementation necessary to provide the growing demands in this one. |
Descripción : | La anemia es un trastorno nutricional muy frecuente hoy en día, es muy común en adolescentes, teniendo una mayor taza de riesgo las de género femenino en edad fértil, principalmente aquellas que están en período de gestación. |
