Resumen : | Indirect restorations require tooth preparation to be carried out to subsequently take an impression and then proceed with the preparation of the restoration in the laboratory. Once it is ready, it is definitively cemented with the selected material. The objective was to describe the different protocols used for cementation in indirect adhesive restorations. A systematic review of the literature was carried out and articles published between 2015 and 2024 were included. According to its design, there was a greater proportion of systematic reviews with six. Posterior indirect adhesive restorations are indicated when there is considerable coronal destruction because of advanced caries or wear, for example, in a large class II cavity with coverage of one or more cusps. Materials such as reinforced glass ionomer, reinforced resin cements and polyurethane cements are used to cement these restorations, but the most used are heated composite resins. To perform indirect adhesive restorations, several steps are required that include prior analysis and selection of the preparation, performing the occlusal preparation, peripheral preparation, taking a final impression, preparing the restoration in the laboratory, testing the structure, and if This is positive, carry out the cementation, preferably with heated composite resin. |
