Drogas y su influencia en las relaciones familiares de los adolescentes del barrio nueva esperanza, año 2024.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of determining the influence of drug use on the intra-family relationships of adolescents in the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood during the year 2024. Factors, effects and risks associated with substance use were identified, as well as their impact on family dynamics. To do this, relevant information was collected through a descriptive and exploratory study with a quantitative approach, which allowed the causes of the problem to be identified reliably. The methodological design was quantitative, using surveys as a data collection technique. The population of interest was the adolescents of the neighborhood, who answered closed questions that facilitated obtaining precise information about their relationship with drugs and their family environment. The results reveal that 52.9% of respondents have had contact with drugs, and 29.2% have noticed negative changes in their family relationships, highlighting problems such as increased conflicts (35.3%) and mistrust (52.9%). Although 76.5% report a "Very good" or "Good" family life, 19.6% consider the life as "Fair", which indicates that there is a significant group that could be facing problems at home. The findings of this research will benefit both adolescents and the community by providing a clear view on the situation of drug use and its impact on intra-family relationships.
