Las dinámicas familiares y su incidencia en la violencia de género en el barrio las Cumbres del cantón Manta, año 2024.

Abstract

This research project focused on family dynamics and their incidence in gender violence in the Las Cumbres neighborhood of the Manta Canton, Year 2024, because this type of violenceis a problem which is latent in society, and brings with it multiple consequences. For this reason,this research was carried out with the objective of establishing the incidence of family dynamics in the manifestation and permanence of gender violence in the Las Cumbres neighborhood of the Manta Canton. A quantitative methodology of a descriptive type was used, the method was inductive and was carried out through the application of a survey to the inhabitants of this neighborhood with a sample of 377 people, the analysis of the results obtained allowed to reach a comprehensive vision of the situation, where it was possible to analyze that poor communication and rigid gender roles are factors that contribute significantly to gender violence in the community, in addition to identifying risk factors such as alcohol consumption and poverty. According to the results, it was concluded that it is important to address this problem from the family context, because currently traditional gender roles continue to be strongly instilled in the family nucleus, in addition to the level of communication, and the types of behaviors affect the perpetuation of this violence.
