Abstract

This article addresses the legal and IT challenges associated with the application of Artificial Intelligence in the management and protection of Copyright, taking into account the study of the ownership of works, objective and subjective originality, and the types of Artificial Intelligence referring to the application of strong and weak AI. The method used for this research was a critical analytical method, applied in Law with the purpose of conducting a search for alternative and critical interpretations regarding the subject. The result of investigating and comparing legal regulations in different jurisdictions regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence in the creation, distribution and protection of Copyright has allowed us to identify and analyze the emerging ethical, legal and technological challenges associated with the application of Artificial Intelligence in the management and protection of Copyright. In conclusion, finding a balance that protects the Rights of works by creators is essential for those who contribute with originality the idea of carrying out a work.
