Banana cultivation is one of the main crops in Ecuador, ranking among the first places, the province of Manabí, mainly the canton of El Carmen, is the one that covers the majority of banana plantations. The purpose of this work was to evaluate the response of the banana crop (Musa AAB) to different mineral fertilizers in the nursery stage. For the present investigation, a randomized complete block design (DBCA) was used in which 5 treatments and 4 repetitions were included. For the investigation, 4 mineral fertilizers were used with the following doses, urea 5g plant-1, phosphate rock 30g plant -1, dbh 50g plant-1, 10-30-10 40g plant-1 and the control treatment that did not obtain any application of mineral fertilizers. The results found determined that the days to sprouting of the treatment plants (T3) with 50g plant-1 took 6.25 days to germinate, in the height of the plant there was no significant difference, in the number of leaves of the plants of the treatment (T2) with 30g plant-1 emitted a greater number of leaves with an average of 5.44, the pseudostem perimeter of the treatment (T2) had a range of 12.75cm, the number of roots of the treatment ( T3) gave a total average of 22.25 roots, the root weight of the treatment (T3) with a total average of 64g, the root length of the treatment (T2) with a total average of 55.25cm root length. The results obtained from the foliar analyzes showed that the percentage that stood out the most in the macronutrients was Nitrogen, as for the micronutrients, the one that stood out the most was Boron.es
