Análisis comparativo de diversas técnicas y tratamientos aplicados a la motricidad orofacial.

Abstract

The development of this project focuses on the realization of a systematic review with the objective of determining the influence that exists between the different techniques and treatments applied for orofacial motricity, in the research process an exploratory methodology was applied, with a descriptive and non-experimental approach, as research techniques a documentary analysis was applied, through which different bibliographic studies carried out based on the most used treatments and methodologies for orofacial motricity were reviewed, which were published within a period of the last 10 years, for the collection of information secondary bibliographic sources were used, considering as bibliographic managers the main scientific databases such as Scielo, Google Scholar, Dialnet, Redalyc, among others. The results of the research showed that the most commonly used methodologies and treatments for treatment consist of non-invasive techniques, such as early stimulation exercises to improve language in children from zero to 3 years, as well as myofunctional therapies for patients with bone muscle disorders, which are considered according to the needs or diagnosis of each patient. It is concluded that both invasive and non-invasive techniques are effective but need to be analyzed according to the level of impairment of each patient. Each of them has benefits and risks, which must be carefully analyzed before their implementation.
