Abstract

The investigation focuses on the company M&D SERVICE (materials and packaging service), as a company that provides labeling and cartoning services for finished products, with orders from clients where there are production processes. The Ecuadorian tuna sector stands out for the activities concerning the tuna process from the capture in boats of 400 to 1000 metric tons to meet the national and international demand for the different canned tuna products. Research carried out on tuna companies in the Jaramijó canton, among which we can mention: "Tecopesca", "Marbeliza", "Asiservy", "Fishcorp", "Puerto Mar" with a more efficient productivity at a lower cost, tuna companies require materials and inputs for the production process through suppliers that supply inputs such as cans, lids, plastics, oil, labels and cardboard represent around 44% of the direct cost of production, they develop different business models.
