dc.description.abstract | This study investigates the relationship between work environment and organizational performance at the Aguas de Manta Public Company (EPAM) in the year 2024. A mixed approach that combines quantitative and qualitative methods was used to collect and analyze data. Quantitative data was collected through employee surveys and qualitative data was collected through interviews. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between the work environment and organizational performance in EPAM. A positive work environment characterized by high levels of job satisfaction, open and effective communication, and human resource practices that emphasize employee well-being leads to better organizational performance in terms of productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, areas for improvement in EPAM's work environment were identified, including the need to strengthen internal communication and promote an organizational culture that encourages employee participation and commitment. Specific recommendations are provided to improve EPAM's work environment and, therefore, organizational performance, with the objective of promoting a more productive and satisfactory work environment for all employees. This study contributes to the understanding of the importance of the work environment in an organizational context and provides practical insights for human resource management and organizational development in EPAM and other similar companies. | es |
